4 frequent questions from Israeli sellers
What if I don't have a VAT number?
You'll need to register with the Israeli Tax Authority (מע"מ) before joining. Registration typically takes 1-2 weeks. Recommended to start the process now.
How do I fill in the English company name?
If your company has an official English name from registration — use it. If not — use Latin transliteration of the Hebrew name. Don't translate the meaning. Review requires matching the English version on the incorporation certificate.
Teudat Zehut or Passport?
Both work. Recommended to use Teudat Zehut (Local ID) — more complete information. For the expiry date field, if your Teudat Zehut has no expiry, fill issue date + 10 years or add a note.
What is UBO? Do I have to fill it?
UBO = Ultimate Beneficial Owner. Required if any shareholder owns 25% or more. Single-owner company — you are the sole UBO, fill your own details. Multiple owners each below 25% — mark 'no' and you won't need to fill.
