Is it worth selling on AliExpress from Israel? A guide for the undecided
AliExpress's local-seller model for Israelis — who it suits, the benefits, and how it differs from classic dropshipping.
If you're considering selling on AliExpress from Israel, there is now a dedicated track for local Israeli sellers — different from the old image of the "Chinese seller". Here's what you need to know to decide.
The model in brief
Local-seller track (AliExpress Direct / GSP): you hold inventory in Israel and ship locally, while the platform runs the store, marketing and customer service. Products get a Local+ tag and preferred exposure to buyers looking for fast delivery.
The main benefits
- Zero selling commission (0%) — the profit stays with you.
- Settlement in shekels, paid T+15 (15 days after receipt confirmation).
- Inventory in Israel and fast local delivery — "Israelis selling to Israelis".
- Marketing and service handled by the platform.
Who it suits
It suits a local Israeli entity that already holds inventory (or can hold it) and can ship locally. It's less suitable for those looking for "no-inventory" dropshipping — that model is different (see the dedicated guide).
The first steps
Broadly: prepare your business/company documents, register as a seller, and upload products. The full document checklist and the 5-step process are gathered in the dedicated pages below.
Sounds like a fit? All the information for Israeli sellers — the benefits, the document checklist and the registration process — is gathered on the sellers page.

How much does it cost to sell on AliExpress?
On the local-seller track the selling commission is 0%. Other costs (shipping, inventory) are yours, as in any business.
Is a deposit required?
As of now (June 2026), sellers with a local Israeli entity are not required to post a deposit (security) on onboarding — an advantage for the Israeli market. This is the current situation and may change; the platform's latest policy governs.
When do you get paid?
Settlement is in shekels, usually T+15 — 15 days after the order receipt is confirmed, with an early-payment option.
