Who we are

il-ecom.com is an information site run by the AliExpress Israel local-seller team, helping Israeli businesses learn about selling on AliExpress. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].

What we collect

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless first-party analytics. We record non-identifying technical events: page views, clicks, scroll depth, the referring link, screen size, a coarse device category, any campaign tag (utm), and a per-tab session identifier kept only in your browser's session storage (deleted when you close the tab). Our servers derive your country from your network connection (a two-letter code; we do not store your IP address).

Our own analytics sets no cookies, we do not run a contact form, and we do not collect your name, email or phone number from browsing. We do not collect sensitive personal data. Advertising-related cookies are described under "Cookies and advertising" below.

Cookies and advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies (and similar technologies) to serve ads and, where permitted, to personalise them based on your prior visits to this and other sites. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown a Google-certified consent message and can accept or refuse before advertising cookies are set. Beyond advertising, the site itself sets no cookies. You can opt out of personalised ads via Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info; how Google uses data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

How we use data

We use the analytics above only to see which content is useful and to improve the site. We do not sell your data.

Storage and international transfer

Analytics events are stored in our own Cloudflare analytics account. Some of our technical infrastructure (including servers) is located in China; information collected through this site may be processed and stored on servers located in China. Data-protection laws in China may differ from those in your country.

Third-party services

We load web fonts from Google Fonts; your browser sends your network address and browser details to Google when fonts load (this sets no cookies). Google AdSense serves ads on this site as an additional third party, as described above.

Contact channels

If you contact us via WhatsApp, Telegram, our Telegram bot or email, your message is handled on those platforms under their own privacy policies. We use what you send only to reply to you.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete information relating to you, and to object to or restrict processing. Because our analytics is non-identifying and cookieless, we usually hold no data linkable to you personally. To exercise a right, email [email protected].

Data retention

Aggregated analytics events are retained for a limited period (about 90 days by default) and then expire automatically.

Governing law

This policy is provided in line with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, with the data-subject rights of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. It is provided for transparency and is not a claim of formal certification.
